Horsham, extending across the northern flank of the county of West Sussex, is a prosperous and deeply Conservative constituency. As well as the market town of Horsham itself, there are attractive small towns and villages set in rich, rolling, wooded countryside. As in many such areas, the Liberal Democrats come second, but distantly, and they are not serious contenders.
