Leominster is one of the most agricultural constituencies in England. As well as Leominster, the seat contains the very traditional market towns of Ledbury and Bromyard, and many smaller villages. Followers of general elections will know that the Liberals have mounted periodic challenges to the Conservatives in this Herefordshire seat but have never broken through. In recent elections, the Liberal Democrat share of the vote has slipped back, and unless there is a dramatic reversal with significant tactical voting by former Labour supporters, the Conservatives look safe until the next third party revival.
