Those unfamiliar with the area might be hard-pressed to conceive of a seaside resort up here on the Cleveland coast, adjacent to heavily industrial Teeside, but such is the core of the Redcar constituency. However, boundaries extend to embrace Teeside overspill estates, which firmly tilt the balance and create a safe Labour seat.
