Known for a time as 'Oneoak' after the Great Hurricane of 1987, Sevenoaks in West Kent has the highest proportion of professional and managerial workers of any seat in Kent, and the smallest proportion of council tenants. No guesswork is required to say which party holds this - it is one of the safest Tory seats in a Tory county. As is usual in this area, any 'threat' comes from the Lib Dems, and they do their best in local elections, not national contests. Merchant banker Mark Wolfson is risking none of his political capital here.
