Heeley, in the south of South Yorkshire's biggest city, was once a Tory-Labour marginal that changed hands with the political tide. But the last time this happened was in 1974 and boundary changes in the 1970s and 80s have moved it safely into Labour's camp. This constituency, consisting largely of newish council estates, has been left undisturbed this time, and Labour's hard-left Bill Michie faces a no-contest situation.
