Inland from the Suffolk Coastal seat, the constituency of Suffolk Central and Ipswich North links the outer suburbs of Ipswich with rolling acres of Suffolk countryside, peppered with small villages and a few market towns. The Conservatives control around half the vote, and with the opposition fairly evenly split between the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats, there is no reason to see this as anything other than a safe Tory seat.
