This Home Counties seat, the south-western corner of Oxfordshire between Oxford and Swindon, is very safe for the Tories. They can count on huge majorities from the large villages that make up the balance of the seat, and the opposition is split. Labour support is based on the old railway town of Didcot, while Wallingford and the town of Wantage lean towards the Lib Dems. The Conservative incumbent, Robert Jackson, will not be showing much anxiety in this election.
