Caithness,Sutherland and Easter Ross, the most northerly constituency of mainland Britain and stretches south from agricultural Caithness through wilderness to the seaside towns of Invergordon and Tain in Easter Ross. Liberal Democrat, Robert Maclennan has been the MP for Caithness and Sutherland since 1966, and will hope to hold the new seat in an area where electors often vote for the man rather than the party.
