The comfortable market towns of Banbury and Bicester plus the surrounding villages of north Oxfordshire go to make up another safe Home Counties Conservative constituency. Notable for having a relatively high percentage of men employed in the armed services, this seat should remain out of reach of Labour, who only just clawed their way back to second place, ahead of the Liberal Democrats, at the last election.
