Epping, Loughton and Chigwell, the pleasant and comfortable suburbs at the eastern end of London Underground's Central Line are safely and unsurprisingly Conservative. Although there are also peripheral council estates, where Labour draws much support, the Epping Forest constituency is safe for the Tories.
