Lewisham West, in south east London, is fairly similar to its sister seat in Lewisham East, although perhaps slightly more polarised between neighbourhoods with distinctly inner city and suburban characteristics. If the Conservatives were to do well in the coming general election, they might hope to win back this constituency, which they lost in 1992. However, as things stand, Labour should hold.
