Robert Waller wrote

Louth and Horncastle embraces much of the gently rolling chalk Lincolnshire Wolds around the market towns of Louth and Horncastle, as well as small coastal resorts such as Mablethorpe. The Liberal Democrats have put up a fair challenge to the ruling Conservatives here in the past decade, but this ought to remain a safe Tory seat. Any Liberal Democrat breakthrough here would be likely to be accompanied by a dramatic haemorrhaging of the Conservative vote nationally.
