Morley and Rothwell, to the south of the West Yorkshire city of Leeds, has a fairly mixed profile, but the balance here is towards traditional Labour areas, especially in the peripheral council estates of Leeds which fall within the seat. Labour's John Gunnell, a former lecturer in education and previously prominent in local government politics, should be safe.
