Best known as the seat of David Owen, former Labour Foreign Secretary and leading light of the short-lived Social Democratic Party, Plymouth Devonport has now reverted to its natural Labour allegiance. This is not all working-class territory, and the naval presence might be expected to work against Labour, but the overall balance is clearly in Labour's favour.
