This vast and spectacularly beautiful Highland seat, is largely based on the former seat of Ross, Cromarty and Skye, held safely by Liberal Democrat Charles Kennedy, who should have little difficulty holding the revised seat, in an area where personal loyalty is often more important than party allegiance for the independently-minded electorate.
