The communities of Virginia Water and St George's Hill, Weybridge, contain some of the most exclusive and elite homes in Britain. Pop stars and entertainers rub shoulders with successful sportsmen and other members of the nouveau riche. Runnymede and Weybridge embraces these areas as well as other, merely affluent or middle-class suburbs, and the more mixed neighbourhoods of Chertsey. This remains among the safest couple of dozen Tory seats in Britain.
