A curiously schizophrenic constituency, split between comfortably-off, owner-occupied suburbia and poorer non-white inner-city areas, Perry Barr, on the north-western side of Birmingham, is overall skewed towards Labour. This seat should continue to send Jeff Rooker to parliament, barring unexpected and dramatic swings to the Conservatives.
